A growing organisation

Guiding in Cumbria South couldn't happen without our fantastic adult volunteers . Whatever your skills and interests or time you can spare, we have a wide range of volunteer roles and opportunities available. These include:

What guiding offers our young members:

• A safe, girl only space,

• An organisation that is open to all, whatever their faith, ability or circumstances,

• A girl-led programme that is modern and relevant to today's girls and young women,

• An organisation which is the voice of girls and young women

For girls and young women:

A chance to have fun, try new things and make friends!!

Age ranges of the different sections:

Rainbows:          5- 7 years old

Brownies:          7-10 years old

Guides:            10-14 years old

Senior Section: 14-25 years old (until the member's 26th birthday)
