County round up - November 2010
Looking forward to the next hundred years!
Thousands of members from all over the county celebrated the end of the Centenary celebrations with Vision - a chance to share memories of Centenary adventures and look forward to the future - making a Promise to make the world a better place and talk about their wishes for the future of guiding.
From discos, multi-activity events to moonlit hikes up fells there was the chance for all age groups to take part in a memorable evening!The night culminated in all members joining together with over half a million Guides from all around the UK at 20:10 on 20/10 2010 to re-affirm their guiding Promise.
With hardly a pause for breath, there's load of things to look forward to in 2011 - with our county camp - WOW - in May, offering the chance for all ages to have an adventure away from home, and the celebrations continue with Girlguiding North West England celebrating its Ruby anniversary, and for Guides and Senior Section members there's the Paris Adventure to spark the travel bug!
