What is Guides?
Guides have an exciting and varied programme designed to inspire, challenge and encourage girls to make a difference in their community.
Guides offers opportunities for girls aged 10-14 across South Cumbria. Guides is an excellent opportunity to get out there and do something really different. Girls create their own campaigns, learn and share new skills and fly down the occasional zip wire.

We have Guide units with amazing leaders waiting to welcome your daughter across South Cumbria. Find the closest unit to you by registering your daughter using the button below.
A local volunteer leader will then contact you within three weeks to let you know all the details about getting started at Guides!
What do Guides do?
Guides are never stuck for something to do. Whether girls want to explore the outdoors, focus on their hobbies, or challenge themselves with something new, there’s something to suit everyone.
Girls decide together what they do in their meetings. So whether they want to try a new sport, have a go at performing, run a debate or brush up on their first aid skills – they can!
In Guides you’ll get out there and do something really different.
