What are Young Leaders?
Young Leaders are young women aged 14-18 who join a Rainbow, Brownie, or Guide unit as part of the leadership team. This helps develop leadership skills, communication and team working. Rangers is a brilliant way to try new things, have fun and give something back to your community. Whether you’re already a member, or are just starting out.
You can be a Young Leader and part of a Ranger unit if you want to. You can also volunteer with a unit as an external volunteer as part of your Duke of Edinburgh Award. The Young Leader qualification is fun and challenging and is a great thing to have on your CV!
