The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was a celebration like no other and Girlguiding Cumbria South celebrated in style by lighting a beacon in Grange over Sands. Our members gathered in drizzly weather to celebrate together and light a beacon.
Rainbows in the Jungle
Jungle fun was had by over 100 Rainbows at a county fun day organised by Girlguiding Cumbria South.
Rainbows are members of Girlguiding ages 4-7 and they joined together this year for a day of fun and adventure despite the weather!
Pom Pom Tastic Guiding Sheep Attend Local Barrow Event
Girlguiding Cumbria South joined with other community groups across South Cumbria to create pom-pom-tastic model sheep for art project ‘What the Flock’ The sheep were created with pom-poms made by young members

Alicia and Helena, Brownies and their 11-Year-old cousin Nina, a Guide have spearheaded a fundraising effort for Ukrainians. They gave local talks and a cake sale followed.
